In the first quarter of 2020, we were contacted by TIP regarding the possibility of providing them with our EVC solutions.

They requested that we design an installation that would provide them with ten Electric Vehicle Chargepoints at their location in Trafford Park, Manchester.

Headquartered in Amsterdam, TIP is one of the leading providers of both equipment and services within Europe and Canada. Located in 18 countries, and offering over 140 service locations, TIP specializes in providing the transportation and logistics sector with leasing, rental, maintenance, and repairs through a wide selection of trailer equipment.

We discussed with the client the different options and eventually designed an EVC solution that would provide them with five dual electrical charging stations and we assisted with the administrative process which resulted in TIP obtaining a £5000 OLEV grant towards the cost of the installation.

In a full turnkey project we provided the following services;

• All civil engineering works which included the excavation of part of the existing car park with full reinstatement on completion of the electrical work.
• Installation of electrical switchgear and cabling to the five EVC stations.
• Installation and commissioning of the ten electrical charge point.
